World renowned fashion designer Vera Wang, best known for her wedding gowns, has separated from her husband Arthur Becker. This Vera Wang divorce news pretty much shocked the nation especially since Vera Wang and husband Arthur Becker have been married for 23 years.

The Vera Wang divorce announcement was made July 11, 2012.

“Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate,” reads a statement from Wang’s company to WWD. “They remain devoted parents to their two daughters.”

Vera Wang and Arthur Becker married in 1989.

Vera Wang is known for her stunning wedding dresses. She has created bridal gowns for celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone and former presidential daughter Chelsea Clinton.
