Grammy Award-winning British singer Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital last weekend due to a suspected chest infection.

Winehouse has been getting a lot of tabloid coverage for the past year due to her drug addiction and controversial personal life. On Thursday, a doctor visited her London home to check on her health and was forced to require further medical treatment after her condition worsened.

“Amy is in hospital being checked out for a chest infection. She is not back in rehab. She should be fine and is expected to return home soon,” a friend was quoted as saying.

Despite these problems, Winehouse is reportedly working on a new album.

American Idol judges Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell sent their condolences to Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, who’s mother, brother and nephew were killed by an unknown suspect.

“This is a horrific tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer and her entire family,” Abdul said.

“I was horrified when I heard the news. This is an appalling tragedy. My thoughts right now are with Jennifer, and her family,” Cowell said in an interview with Extra.

Hudson gained fame as one of the contestants of the hit talent search before she went on to win the Oscar for her role in “Dreamgirls.”

The representative for actress Alyson Hannigan confirmed that the “How I Met Your Mother” star is currently expecting her first child with actor-husband Alexis Denisof. The baby is expected to arrive this coming spring.

Hannigan and Denisof met on the set of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” during the 2000 season. The couple got married three years later.

Aside from her popular role in “How I Met Your Mother,” Hannigan gained accolades as the love interest of Jason Biggs in the box-office series “American Pie.”

Authorities have reportedly identified the lifeless body of a 7-year old boy to be the missing nephew of singer-actress Jennifer Hudson.

According to reports, the body of Julian King was found in the rear seat of a white Chevrolet vehicle found at Chicago’s West Side on Monday morning. He suffered several gunshot wounds.

The investigation has intensified following this devastating discovery. Hudson’s family has conducted a church vigil after learning about this development.

King has been reported missing since Friday after an unknown suspect killed Hudson’s mother and brother. Hudson offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her nephew.

The authorities are currently detaining King’s stepfather, William Balfour for questioning.

Actor Ben Affleck admitted in an interview with Live that he regretted having gone on with the relationship with former fiancé, actress Jennifer Lopez.

“I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were excited and maybe too accessible. I don’t think either of us anticipated the degree to which it would take on a world of its own,” he said.
Affleck and Lopez was supposed to get married in September 2004 but called off the wedding at the last minute. Affleck then found love in another Jennifer, “Alias” star Jennifer Garner.

Lopez also found love for herself. She got married to singer Marc Anthony and gave birth to twins this year.
