The close friends of actress Lindsay Lohan are worried that her continuing weight loss may affect her health in the long run.

According to reports, Lohan is allegedly suffering from an eating disorder for the past three years. This has been denied by the “Georgia Rule” star.

“She is thinner than ever and we are concerned she is taking it too far. Lindsay’s weight has always fluctuated, but since falling in love with Samantha Ronson – who is naturally very slim – Lindsay seems desperate to lose more weight,” a source informed Star magazine.

Lohan is currently dating DJ Samantha Ronson.

Pop star Britney Spears surprisingly did not object to the decision of a Los Angeles court to appoint her father as a permanent conservator of her affairs.

“I’ve met several times with [Britney] and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship,” Samuel Ingham, the singer’s court-appointed lawyer said.

Commissioner Reva Goetz stated that it was “necessary and appropriate” to come up with this decision.

However, several legal experts believe that the term “permanent” translates to “forever.” The decision only avoid continuous renewal of temporary conservatorship and that Britney Spears can manage her own affairs when the right time comes.

Football star David Beckham is reportedly considering the possibility of purchasing a private jet of his own in order to spend more time with his family.

According to reports, Beckham is ready to spend as much as £7 million to realize this plan. The plane will shuttle him from U.S. to Europe and vice versa to keep up with his commitments.

There have been rumors that the 33-year old player is being loaned to Italy’s AC Milan for eight weeks.

“He’s going to have to sacrifice a lot by moving back to Europe in January. The only thing we can think of is if he either buys or rents his own jet for a couple of months,” a source told Daily Star newspaper.

“He’ll be able to fly back to Los Angeles between games and meet up with the family. It might cost a bit but you can’t put a price on time with your children,” the source added.

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie made a surprise appearance at the Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala on Monday night to pay tribute to award-winning director-actor Clint Eastwood.

She personally presented the “Director of the Year” award that was given to Eastwood.

Clint is what every great director should be. There are some people in this business who are icons and we wonder if, when we meet them, they’ll live up to what we imagine them to be,” Jolie said.

“Clint in person is even better,” she added.

Eastwood directed Jolie’s latest film “The Changeling,” which garnered positive reviews.

Former Spice Girl Victoria “Posh” Beckham reportedly got a lucrative offer to appear on a documentary that will depict the impending move of her husband, football star David Beckham, to Milan.

The offer is said to have gotten the full support of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, stating that the funding’s not a problem.

Beckham had a similar show set up during her transfer to Los Angeles a few years ago. However, this project did not materialize.

Victoria has yet to comment on this £10 million offer.
