An unemployed woman from Connecticut found another way to advertise her resume, hoping that this would be the best method to get a job as soon as possible.

East Hampton resident Pasha Stocking decided to place an ad via a large billboard along Interstate 95 in Bridgeport. The sign gives out the message, “Hire Me!” plus her photo and the website address http://www.hirepasha.com where employers can see her qualifications.

Stocking, a 37-year old single mom, was laid off from work in June last year. She revealed that she had been looking ever since a job that’s related in marketing and design – which was her task during her previous employment. She said that she was inspired to rent a billboard because a man from Milwaukee did the same thing.

A man in Israel stripped down to emphasize his protest over a Tel Aviv supermarket’s decision to sell break over Passover.

According to reports, selling of break is a violation of Jewish religious laws. Apparently, 28-year old Arieh Yerushalmi is taking the law by heart – went to the store last Sunday and shed his clothing.

Yerushalmi also staged a similar protest last year at another market.

The Passover week began on Wednesday and Jewish law specifically bans the selling of leavened products during the holiday.

A seventy-year old retiree from Boone County, West Virginia pulled off a surprising achievement in the golf course when he aced two consecutive holes-in-one on Tuesday.

According to reports, Carl Smith used a pitching wedge to nail a 70-yard 18th hole at the Coonskin Park in Charleston. He never thought that he could do the same thing after a short break.

Smith said that he used a sand wedge in a 100-yard hole and was shocked to discover that his tee shot bounced twice and then made its way in the hole. His good friend Bob Roy saw the events.

The Indiana authorities revealed that after they arrested two people in connection with a methamphetamine bust, they discovered that the suspects kept the recipe for making the illegal drug in the last page of the Bible – specifically on the Book of Revelation. The suspects must have thought that the holy book would be a perfect hideaway of the incriminating evidence.

Police Lt. Ed Windbigler told the media that the recipe was handwritten on the bible, hidden discreetly in an apartment where the two were apprehended on Tuesday night this week.

Due to the existence of an active methamphetamine laboratory in the apartment, the officers evacuated the other 18 residents in the apartment building. This served as the second time within the past six months where the police discovered illegal drug activities in the same building.

It was certainly a bad Thursday morning for a 22-year old man who claimed that he was robbed twice within half an hour span in Iowa City.

According to the authorities, the unnamed victim was first approached by group of six men who was asking for cigarettes. The victim recounted that he was attacked by these men and took all of his cigarettes.

In a little while, the victim was attacked from behind in a deserted alley by a group of five men. This time, he was knocked down pretty badly and that his watch was taken by the suspects.
