“Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus downplayed allegations that she mocked Asians in a photograph which showed the teen star stretching the corners of her eyes. In her official website, Cyrus wrote that she simply made a goofy face and was not making fun of any ethnicity.

In the photograph, Cyrus and five friends squinted their eyes while one Asian man sitting next to the tween star seemed to not participate in the group pose.

A writer reportedly filed a lawsuit today at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming that he was the brains behind the successful Disney series “Hannah Montana.”

Richard Fronduto claimed that he wrote a script for “The Secret Life of Sindi” which was renamed to “The Family Business” way back in 1990 and this idea was pitched in by his agent to Disney.
