The father of Charice has died after he was stabbed to death in Laguna, Philippines before midnight Monday. The dad of Charice Pempengco has been stabbed to death.

Ricky Pempengco, the father of international Filipino singer Charice, died on the spot after sustaining multiple stab wounds. He was reportedly killed by a certain Angel Capili.

Two witnesses now tell authorities that Ricky Pempengco, the father of Charice, was stabbed in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines.

Initial police investigation showed that the incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. Monday. The father of Charice Pempengco, Ricky, was buying something from a store along A. Bonifacio Street in Langgam village in San Pedro town.
