passoverA man in Israel stripped down to emphasize his protest over a Tel Aviv supermarket’s decision to sell break over Passover.

According to reports, selling of break is a violation of Jewish religious laws. Apparently, 28-year old Arieh Yerushalmi is taking the law by heart – went to the store last Sunday and shed his clothing.

Yerushalmi also staged a similar protest last year at another market.

The Passover week began on Wednesday and Jewish law specifically bans the selling of leavened products during the holiday.
An ultra-orthodox community has a different way of informing the store owners – by simply writing letters to them and informing them about the law.
