golferA seventy-year old retiree from Boone County, West Virginia pulled off a surprising achievement in the golf course when he aced two consecutive holes-in-one on Tuesday.

According to reports, Carl Smith used a pitching wedge to nail a 70-yard 18th hole at the Coonskin Park in Charleston. He never thought that he could do the same thing after a short break.

Smith said that he used a sand wedge in a 100-yard hole and was shocked to discover that his tee shot bounced twice and then made its way in the hole. His good friend Bob Roy saw the events.
Smith took up golfing after retiring from his career ten years ago and started the hobby after purchasing a full set of clubs for less than $5. He’s been active on the sport ever since. He’s also into bowling as well, taking part in a bowling league which conduct competitions every Wednesday.
