A police officers’ convention that took place in Pennsylvania got interesting when a would-be robber was apprehended inside the convention center’s men’s room after attempting to rob a retired police chief.
John Comparetto stated that a man pointed a gun at him and demanded money in the men’s room. Little did the suspect know that there were about three hundred police officers from Ohio and Pennsylvania at the convention.
Comparetto added that he complied with the robber’s demands but immediately asked his colleagues’ help after the young robber left. It took a few moments for the officers to apprehend the 19-year old suspect, who was attempting to board a taxi.
It was later found out that the suspect is currently facing four robbery charges from previous incidents. He was taken to the Dauphin County Prison.
