Nobel laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore announced on Wednesday the release of his new book “Our Choice” later this year. The new book tackles on climate change, solutions to comeback global warming and the current state of the world’s climate.

Gore’s work is a follow-up in his best-selling 2006 book “An Inconvenient Truth.” The new book will be made out of recycled paper by publisher Rodale Books.

In a statement, Gore said: “An Inconvenient Truth reached millions of people with the message that the climate crisis is threatening the future of human civilization and that it must and can be solved.”

He added that there’s a need for a “comprehensive global plan” to resolve the climate crisis because the findings within the past three years had been disturbing. He said he tackled the issue on the new book.

“An Inconvenient Truth” was made into a documentary that led to Gore’s win at the Oscars in 2007 plus the Nobel Peace Prize that same year. The book’s set for release on November 3.
