Shilpa Shetty, a popular Bollywood star, is scheduled to fly to Britain to visit terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody. This was revealed by the star’s publicist Max Clifford on Saturday.

Clifford said that Shetty desperately wants to see her friend in person, stating that they have been keeping in touch for months.

Both Goody and Shetty became part of the “Celebrity Big Brother” show in 2007 wherein the former had been throwing insults to the latter. This incident reportedly got thousands of complaints but after the show, both of the reality TV participants became good friends.

Twenty-seven year old Goody appeared on India’s franchise of “Big Brother” in 2008 but was forced to abruptly end her stint due to medical results showing that she had cervical cancer. The doctors have said that the cancer has spread and that the reality star may have a few weeks or months to live.

Last month, Goody and her boyfriend got married which was covered y the media. She’s been working hard to earn money for her two sons’ future.
