michael_jacksonReliable sources have revealed that pop superstar Michael Jackson is set to make a comeback via a series of concerts in London and Britain.

On Tuesday, concert promoter AEG Live released an invitation to the media to attend a news conference on Thursday at London’s O2 music hall. The organizer has yet to inform the media the details of the said conference.

However, sources said that the multiplatinum artist has been in negotiations since last month to conduct up to thirty live concerts in London alone this year.

If this agreement pushes through, this will serve as the 50-year old’s first major concert since his acquittal on child molestation charges in 2005.

Jackson, also known as the “King of Pop,” dominated the charts in the 1980s and 1990s via multiplatinum albums such as “Bad” and “Thriller.” He’s been out of the spotlight since 2005 after his trial.
