This is certainly an award you wouldn’t want to get. However, having a Razzie Awards can still be a publicity opportunity.

Last weekend, the Golden Raspberry Awards (or Razzie Awards), took place and it was the night of flop flicks with high profile stars. Topping the awards with seven nominations was the flop film “The Love Guru” which took home the Worst Picture and Worst Screenplay award plus the “coveted” Worst Actor award to Mike Myers.

Myers’ female counterpart was socialite Paris Hilton who emulated Kate Winslet’s Golden Globes sweep in the female acting category. Hilton won the Worst Actress trophy for “The Hottie and the Nottie” and Worst Supporting Actress for “Repo! The Genetic Opera.” Hilton also snagged the Worst Screen Couple award with her “Hottie” co-stars, Joel David Moore and Christine Lakin.

Other recipients include Pierce Brosnan for “Mama Mia” (Worst Supporting Actor) and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (Worst Prequel, Remake, Ripoff or Sequel in 2008).
