Dan Brown, the author of bestselling novels “The Da Vinci Code” and “Angels and Demons,” has reportedly finished a new book that’s still based on the popular fictional Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon.
Ron Howard, the director of the film adaptation of “The Da Vinci Code,” said that Brown’s latest work still centers on the same character but information on the story has yet to be revealed to the public.
Media outlets have reported that Brown’s next book has the temporary title “The Solomon Key,” and the locations would include Washington, D.C. Brown’s publisher Doubleday has yet to give a comment regarding the matter.
“The Da Vince Code” film which stars Tom Hanks went on to earn hundreds of millions of dollars in the box office, prompting producers to adapt another Brown novel “Angels and Demons,” which is set for release on May 15.
As for Howard, who just gave this juicy info on the new novel, he said that he has not read the latest Brown novel but he’s looking forward to it.
