The authorities of the Porter Country Sheriff’s Department in Hebron, Indiana reported that a woman was arrested after allegedly attacking a bride, who happens to be her sister, during a wedding reception.
According to reports, 23-year old Annmarie Bricker was charged with misdemeanor battery.
The wedding reception of newlyweds Lori Kappes and Nicholas Landry took place in Jeremy Glotzbach’s house on January 23. It was at that time when Bricker, Kappes’ sister, appeared uninvited and attempted to talk to her sister.
Witnesses claimed that Bricker pulled Kappes’ hair, struck her head and pushed the bride to the ground.
The suspect reasoned that she went to the house to talk to her sister and parents about some family problems. She insisted that she never touched her sister which contradicted the testimony of five witnesses. The injuries incurred by Kappes were not serious enough to need medical attention.
After the incident, Bricker resigned as a 911 dispatcher at the Porter County.
