Authorities in Bahamas revealed that a paramedic attempted to extort $25 million from actor John Travolta by allegedly selling a one-page “refusal to transport” document.
According to reports, Travolta signed the document while Emergency Services Tech Tarino Lightbourn was treating the actor’s son Jett.
The document could insinuate that there was an effort to avoid medical treatment. However, the authorities sided with the actor, saying that everything was done to resuscitate his son.
Lightbourn is currently under the custody of the Bahamanian police and was charged with two counts of extortion.
