Now this is something that we don’t read everyday! A southern California woman delivered eight healthy babies within a span of five minutes – or an average of 36 seconds per baby!

The doctors of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower, California said that they were excited to have taken part in this rare occurrence, stating that they’re still monitoring the babies because the first three to seven days are critical.

They’ve not yet identified the mother of the babies but they were pleasantly surprised to discover that the eight newborn babies are in stable condition and are “doing quite well!”
