Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin dismissed the controversy over the alleged huge expenditure on her wardrobe, saying that these news are “absolutely ridiculous.”
“There is a kind of this double-standard that’s going on. I don’t hear the guys being talked about their wardrobe,” Palin said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
According to reports, GOP spent in excess of $150,000 for her wardrobe alone. Despite this, Palin said that the race for the vice presidential seat continues.
“I’m not going to complain about that because if my skin isn’t thick enough to handle that today as a candidate then I shouldn’t even be running for vice president,” she said.
