Pop star Britney Spears is reportedly scheduled to make her third appearance at the top-rating sketch show “Saturday Night Live” on November 22, just less than 2 weeks before the release of her latest album “Circus.”

Spears had appeared in the program in 2000 and 2002. Her third appearance is hopefully going to help the promotion of her album.

“Britney is in final talks to appear on “Saturday Night Live” on November 22. She is really nervous about it, but thinks it will finally convince people she has put her troubled past behind her and has the ability to laugh at herself,” a source said.

Spears appeared earlier this year in CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother.” The episode garnered high ratings which prompted the show’s producers to invite her for a second guest appearance.
